Legion Physical Security was built with data protection at its core, not as an afterthought. Every layer of the application — from how you access it to where your data lives — was designed to keep your assessments private, protected, and in your control.

Biometric Authentication

Every session begins with identity verification. Legion Physical Security uses Face ID and Touch ID — Apple’s native biometric authentication — to ensure that only you can access your assessments. No passcode fallback that can be shoulder-surfed. No shared login credentials. Your data stays locked until you unlock it.

Offline-First Architecture

Field work does not always come with a reliable connection. Legion Physical Security is built to operate fully offline — assessments, floor plan annotations, inventory tracking, and report generation all work without a network. Your data never has to pass through a third-party server to function. When connectivity returns, iCloud sync handles the rest.

CloudKit and iCloud Sync

Assessment data is stored and synced through Apple’s CloudKit — the same infrastructure that powers iCloud across hundreds of millions of devices. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, stored in Apple’s private database, and never accessible to us. There is no Legion server holding your client data. It lives in your iCloud account, under your Apple ID, governed by Apple’s enterprise-grade security standards.

Data Encryption

All data stored through CloudKit benefits from end-to-end encryption for private database records. Your assessment content — risks, floor plans, inventory, reports — is encrypted before it leaves your device and can only be decrypted by your authenticated Apple ID. Not by us. Not by Apple. Only by you.
